Flow and restore yoga sessions are breath-led, floor based sessions, offered at a slower pace, modified to individual needs and abilities on any day. A wonderful practice for every ‘body'.

Inviting a softer practice while supporting our joints, the practice will offer gentle movements to develop mobility while releasing tension and tightness - Encouraging a more somatic style of yoga, with gentle movements that support our nervous system to create new muscular habits. Inviting a more conscious focus on the internal experience of the movements, rather than the external appearance or result of the movement.

Then easing into supportive restorative postures using a range of props - blocks, blankets and bolsters
Each posture has its own specific beneficial effects on different parts of the physical and subtle bodies.
When posture work is combined with the conscious direction of the breath and awareness, our bodies relax and release even deeper, while quietening the mind and emotions.

Breath work practices are offered to develop and support healthy breathing which improves our posture, emotional and mental well-being. When the quality of the breath improves it helps to relieve stress and improve circulation, balance our heart rate, sleeping patterns often get better and feelings of fatigue will lessen improving our overall vitality.

Each class concludes with a Relaxation, which is an opportunity for the body and mind to rest and rejuvenate.
Deeply nurturing and healing class for every 'body' to rebalance, restore and revitalise on all levels, physically, emotionally and mentally.
Bring along a yoga mat, cushions, blankets, bolsters if you have them - there will be some available on the day too.

Suitable for all ages and abilities - no yoga experience is necessary.
