Tauranga’s iconic festival of all things loud, vulgar and unrepentant Woodcock is not returning in 2020. Instead, Not Woodcock has
been born.
Looking towards the future, newly rebranded organisers Not Tauranga Music Sucks have instead lifted the lid on Not Woodcock, "a
fresh, original and innovative concept for the modern music event."
Happening over two stages, the bold new summer festival will feature 25 riff-slingers from throughout the world and a bevy of
locals – including China’s psych rock mavericks Mirrors解离的真实, explosive US garage rockers The Schizophonics, Dunedin
boogie board champions Koizilla, Hamilton’s raucous punk rockers Contenders and Auckland wine punks Tooms.
