Jon Toogood announces 19 date tour to celebrate first solo album

Renowned New Zealand musician Jon Toogood today announces Last Of The Lonely Gods album release tour bringing to life his first ever solo album of the same name this October and November. Performing nineteen shows across Aotearoa, this tour will see Jon step into a new realm of live performance offering fans an intimate and powerful experience of his latest work.

The tour kicks off on Friday October 11 in Kerikeri before heading south and wrapping up with shows at new Auckland venue Double Whammy and on Great Barrier Island

Announced last Friday, Last Of The Lonely Gods will be released via Warner Music NZ on Friday 11 October. The album is a rousing 10-track collection that sees Jon on the acoustic guitar showcasing his artistic evolution, with themes of loss, resilience, and healing. 

Each performance on this tour promises to deliver a unique and captivating experience, highlighting Toogood's raw talent, storytelling and emotional depth. Tickets for the tour are on sale Monday 29 July at midday. Fans are encouraged to secure their tickets early, as these shows at intimate venues nationwide are expected to sell out quickly. Since 1988 Jon has performed at more than 1500 live shows and sold over 250,000 albums world- wide, with two albums certified double platinum and five albums certified gold in New Zealand and Australia.
