Janine announces headline Aus/NZ tour

New Zealand native Janine will make her anticipated return to Australia and New Zealand with a headline tour this March.
Janine will perform at The Tuning Fork in Auckland on Thursday 7 March before heading over to Australia for shows at The Lansdowne in Sydney onWednesday 13 March and Melbourne’s Northcote Social Club on Thursday 14 March.

Originally performing as ‘Janine and the Mixtape’, New Zealand-born, LA-based Janine first made her mark on the industry in 2013 when her EP Dark Mindsoared to #2 on the Billboard Heatseekers Chart and #2 on iTunes Top R&B/Soul Albums Chart. With lead single ‘Hold Me’ reaching the Top 10 on Spotify’s Global Viral Chart, Janine quickly set the tone for her upward trajectory.
Taking her Before It’s Too Late live show across the US for the first time in 2018, Janine continued to see success in commanding control of her journey as an artist - her sound becoming recognisable as indie R&B infused with soulful melodies, alternative pop sensibilities and intricate soundscapes.
Critically acclaimed by Complex, VIBE, Billboard and MTV, Janine spent the following years releasing incredibly well-crafted music, from debut 2018 album 99, which Industry Me labelled a ‘coherent, classic embodiment of great storytelling and vocal poise’ to 2021’s hit single ‘Loving Me’ which currently sits at over 14 million Spotify streams. A true self-sufficient artist, Janine creates, directs and edits her creative, often engineering her own music and opting to record in her closet over big studios.
