Tikitapu 1 Canoe Sprint Regatta

The first of our national canoe sprint regattas kicks off on the first weekend of December. This regatta involves clubs from around the country entering members into flat water sprint racing for 200m, 500m and 1000m distances. Time allowing there will also be a 5000m loop course with a portage which makes for some exciting viewing as competitors leave the water and carry their boats across the sand before restarting.
