Our popular weeknight classes are the best way to really get into jewellery-making in a lively, warm, and friendly environment. The course starts on Wednesday 25 September and runs for 8 weeks until 13 November, 5.30pm - 8pm.

To book into this class you must have taken at least one 4 week block class with us or equivalent. It is not for complete beginners.

Level 2 students will focus on Cabochon stone set ring or pendant. The stone-setting process teaches you many fundamental techniques in one project!

We start with basic bezel making in copper or brass, students will learn measuring and setting, and take their soldering skills a level up. We will work with cabochon stones (cabochon means it has a flat bottom and a smooth domed top).

Once your first setting is completed you can move to working in silver and produce another stone set project with more interesting design elements.

Advanced students will focus on Chain Making and other projects.

Included in the class fee are copper and brass for practising on, up to 8 grams of sterling silver, an extra $8 for stones and fine silver and all consumables such as sandpaper, solder and chemicals. Extra metals and materials are available for purchase in the studio.

Our booking system asks for payment to be made via credit card, Afterpay or PayPal on booking. If you do not have access to these payment methods or need to pay your course fee over time please email us to arrange this ;)
