Ngāti Whakaūe Whakanuia Kapa Haka Celebration

Ngāti Whakaūe have enjoyed celebrating being together for many years. Each Marae have been preparing to take the stage to perform Kapa Haka and we invite you to all to come and join us. Enjoy the thread of whakapapa of Whakaūe and celebrate the culture and creative performances. This year Ngāti Whakaūe will celebrate Whakanuia Kapa Haka at Owhata Marae, Hinemoa Point, Owhata, Rotorua, It will take place on Saturday 5 October 2024, starting at 8.30am with the first performance at 9am. Bring your whānau and family and enjoy the market including great food and then be entertained by all the Kapa Haka performances. Nau Mai Haere everyone.
