Shakespeare’s words will "gallop apace"dance off the page! Throw into the cauldron some capers and Shakespeare’s words speak for themselves. With Shakespeare being performed in over 150 countries, cultural twists through dance create no language barriers. Romeo says to Mercutio: "You have dancing shoes with nimble soles". Then with Shakespeare's ever-present puns contrasts those nimble soles with his "soul of lead," which weighs him down because of his lovesickness. Delight in young to mature performers' 'spins' on Shakespeare through their love of dance and music. Among them, Sarah-Jane Chaplin will charm while students from Maidstone Intermediate will excite and coming over specially from the Wairarapa, older students from Kuranui College will perform a miscellany. As well there will be musicians and the odd soliloquy and sonnet. A veritable smorgasbord of Shakespeare!
