Weekly Drama Classes (Ages 5-10) - Tim Bray Youth Theatre

Let your children and teens grow with Tim Bray Youth Theatre weekly drama classes for ages 5 to 10 years.

Term 3 Thursday classes start 25 July 2024 (see other listings for alternative days and venues). Students' annual performance will held in Term 3 on Thursday 26 July at the PumpHouse Theatre, Takapuna.

5-7yrs - 4 - 5 pm
8-10yrs - 5 - 6 pm

We also offer classes on Fridays at St George's as well as classes in Western Springs (Mondays and Tuesdays) and in Browns Bay (Wednesdays). And we offer Extraordinarily Creative classes for autistic and neurodivergent children and teens on the North Shore and East Auckland. Please see our website for details.

Our tutors introduce students to a range of theatre techniques such as scene work, voice, stage-craft, story-telling, ensemble work and build students' confidence in a fun, engaging class.

Our Youth Theatre is more than just a weekly drama class. When we are running one of our professional Tim Bray Theatre Company stages shows we invite the students to attend a rehearsal to watch professional actors at work followed by a question and answer session. We provide an opportunity for parents to see the work their children are doing through open classes in Term 1 and 4. Class performance is held in Term 3.
