Thom Yorke

One of the most globally influential musical minds of his generation, Thom Yorke has announced his first Aotearoa events since visiting here last with Radiohead in 2012. The iconic UK songwriter / composer will headline Christchurch's Wolfbrook Arena on 23rd October and Auckland’s Spark Arena on 25th October, promising to perform material from across a remarkable career — "from Radiohead through his various solo and soundtrack projects, to his most recent work with The Smile".

Alongside his game-changing works as frontman of Radiohead — whose post-rock milestones include OK Computer (1997), Kid A (2000) and In Rainbows (1997) — Yorke's auspicious oeuvre includes solo albums The Eraser (2006), Tomorrow’s Modern Boxes (2014) and Anima (2019), two albums with The Smile, soundtrack works for director Luca Guadagnino's 2018 reimagining of Suspiria and Confidenza (2024), collaborations with Burial, and so much more. Needless to say, local fans of any / all of the above better be ready to pounce upon tickets when they become available later this week.
