Steam Day

Don’t miss the monthly STEAM DAY at the ‘Settlers and Steam Museum’ (Te Amorangi Trust Museum Inc.)! You’ll be able to see our eight working stationary steam engines in action, powered by steam from a wood-fired boiler. The museum is open (every Thursday and Sunday) and you can view our fascinating collections and explore some local history! STEAM DAY is the second Sunday of every month, 10am – 4pm (please note that you must arrive at least 1 hour prior to closing in order to be permitted entry).
