A School Holiday Adventure Walk in Paddy’s paw-steps and explore Pōneke on a pawsome adventure this school holiday! Join us and the Cable Car as you journey through the city, following Wellington’s legendary Airedale terrier, Paddy the Wanderer. Pick up your Paddy Passport from any participating site and collect stamps from Wellington Museum, Cable Car Museum, the Cable Car terminal, and Space Place for a chance to win an exciting prize! Meet Paddy: Paddy the Wanderer, a beloved 1930s Airedale terrier, was adored by Wellington’s waterfront community—cabbies, workers, and seamen alike. Adopted by the Wellington Harbour Board, he proudly held the title "Assistant Night Watchman in Charge of Pirates, Rodents, and Smugglers." Click here to learn more about Paddy’s wandering ways. How to Play: - Grab your Paddy Passport from any participating site. - Collect all four stamps from Wellington Museum, Cable Car terminal, Cable Car Museum, and Space Place. - Once you have all the stamps, fill out an entry form to go in the draw for a special prize. Competition runs from Saturday 28 September – Sunday 13 October 2024 One winner will be drawn on Monday 14 October 2024 and contacted privately via email.
