First Light Wine & Food Festival 2024

Get ready for the annual First Light Wine & Food Festival, the ultimate way to spend Labour Weekend, kicking off the high season on the golden slopes of Gisborne.
From 12pm to 7pm, explore two fantastic venues - TW Wines and Matawhero Wines while enjoying some of the region's top food and wine producers.

With everything from chardonnay and rosé to merlot and malbec, plus delicious bites from local foodies, it’s the ideal weekend escape among the vines where the epic wines are made! Both venues will feature live music all day, creating a great vibe to relax and soak it all in.

Your ticket includes a free bus service running between town and both wineries, as well as between the venues from 11:30am to 2:30pm. Hop on at the Gisborne i-Site, and you’re sorted.
