Get ready, Auckland! Producer and DJ, Breakage (aka James Boyle) returns to Aotearoa for the first time in five years, bringing his unique and dynamic style of drum and bass to Mothership. With a lineup of stellar local DnB DJs, this event promises to deliver from doors until close.

Breakage has established himself as one of the most versatile artists in the scene, known for his rich tones and impactful soundscapes. He burst onto the drum and bass scene in 2000 with a raucous remix of Nasty Habit’s ‘Here Come the Drums’ and has since become a staple in both the DnB and Dubstep communities.

Notable Releases: 

• 2007: Signed with Shy FX’s Digital Soundboy label, releasing haunting tracks like ‘Clarendon’ and ‘Shroud’.
• 2009: Released ‘Run Em Out’ featuring Roots Manuva and the underground anthem ‘Hard’, which was named Zane Lowe’s ‘Hottest Record In The World’.
• 2010: His acclaimed album Foundation featured collaborations with industry heavyweights like Skream, Burial, and David Rodigan, earning accolades from DJ MAG, NME, and Mixmag.
