It’s so much fun, so good for the brain and working as a collective! Tamara Smith is a renowned flautist, percussionist, composer, teacher, dancer and band leader of world-music collective Mundi. Tamara is a trained high school teacher and has taught at High Schools both in New Zealand and in London and has been a music specialist to schools within Christchurch and the wider Canterbury region. Tamara taught and worked alongside renowned children’s musical play teacher Julie Wylie here in Christchurch. Tamara loves to share the joy, humour, connection, and expression that music brings with children of all ages. This event is part of The Arts Centre's School Holiday Fun (27 Sep - 13 Oct), a lively programme packed full with events to nurture creativity, spark imagination and entertain pre-schoolers through to teens.
