Bay Oval revealed to host Boxing Day Cricket test match

Summer is on for the Bay Oval as it gets set to host the Boxing Day Cricket test match test against Pakistan for the first time. It comes after the Black Caps' summer schedule was revealed today, with other test matches set as well for the Mount Maunganui Bay Oval. 

Last summer the Black Caps played in Australia's traditional Boxing Day Test at the Melbourne Cricket Ground and the previous year New Zealand hosted one for the first time since 2014 against Sri Lanka.

The Bay Oval is no stranger to hosting big test matches, having previously hosted five Boxing Day tests.

The Black Caps haven't played since the ODI series in Australia was abandoned in March due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

2nd T20 vs West Indies - Sunday 29th November - 2pm

3rd T20 vs West Indies - Monday 30th November - 7pm

1st Test vs Pakistan - Saturday 26th December - Wednesday 30th December - 11am

5th T20 vs Australia - Sunday 7th March 2021 - 2pm
