The Others Way Festival 2025: line up announced

Thursday 29 May 2025

The Others Way is back and ready to light up Karangahape Road on Saturday, November 29, with its biggest and boldest edition yet. This year, the iconic Tāmaki Makaurau festival will shut down K Road itself, transforming the entire block from Queen Street to Pitt Street into a sprawling live music haven.

Leading the charge is Sharon Van Etten & The Attachment Theory, touring their acclaimed self-titled album and fresh from her triumphant Civic Theatre show. Joining her is a stacked line-up of local legends and international heavyweights: High Dependency Unit return for their first shows since 2017; The Phoenix Foundation will perform Pegasus in full; and Zamrock pioneers W.I.T.C.H. bring their unique sound to Aotearoa.

The Others Way’s first line-up also features Canadian genre-bender Saya Gray, indie folk star Shannon Lay, alt-rockers Elliot & Vincent, ballroom icon Jamaica Moana, and revered local acts like Tiny Ruins (in duo mode), Anthonie Tonnon, and The Bats. Expect everything from dub and psych rock to hip-hop and folk, with performers like Babetech, BBYFACEKILLA, Geneva AM, Kaiviti, Hina, Holly Arrowsmith, Isla Noon, Lipstick Cherry, Mazbou Q, RNZŌ, Romi Wrights, Sampology, Swizl Jager, and Womb all on deck.

Tickets for this street-spanning party are on sale now at Moshtix. More acts to be announced soon.
