The Cure kicked off their Shows of a Lost World tour in New Orleans on May 10, thrilling fans with their performance of “A Thousand Hours” and “Six Different Ways” for the first time since 1987. The band also premiered new songs, “Alone” and “Endsong,” expected to feature on their upcoming album, Songs of the Lost World. Despite a run-in with Ticketmaster over tour on-sale issues, the band played an impressive setlist that included favorites like “Lovesong,” “Friday I'm in Love” and “Boys Don’t Cry.” The tour continues until July 1 in Miami, and is highly anticipated by fans of one of the greatest rock bands of all time.
