Swallow The Rat will perform two back-to-back shows

In what I imagine is a move to escape this dastardly humidity, Tāmaki Makaurau post-punk rodents Swallow The Rat are taking their feisty live act South next month for two back-to-back shows. The noise rockers have been kicking around the New Zealand music channels lately, having rocketed around the North Island with fellow noise-makers Ripship late last year on a seven-date stint, and found themselves getting comfy in the bFM Top Ten thanks to their collaboration with Memory Foam's Yuko Miyoshi on sublime track 'Other Rooms'.

Not ones to muck around, the Swallow The Rat boys are righting their tour wrongs and roaring down the country to Ōtautahi on March 10th and Ōtepoti the following night, joined by Tauranga experimenters Flogging A Dead One Horse Town on both occasions, and Hoihoi and Dale Kerrigan respectively. Dig out your earplugs and your gnarliest Docs South Islanders, Swallow The Rat are coming to a town near you.
