S Club 7, the iconic UK pop group, remains determined to honor their reunion tour despite the untimely passing of member Paul Cattermole. Paul's recent death deeply saddened the band and fans, as it occurred shortly after their announcement of the highly anticipated 25th-anniversary tour.
In an Instagram announcement, S Club 7 shared the news that fellow member Hannah Spearritt will not be joining them on the road. Hannah and Paul had been in a relationship during their time in the band, and she openly expressed her ongoing grief over his loss. However, the band emphasized that Hannah remains an integral part of the group despite her absence on the tour. Jon Lee, a member of S Club 7, stated, "She won't be joining us on this tour, but we wish her all the best for the future."
The remaining five members of S Club 7 expressed their excitement and determination to forge ahead with the tour. They are fully committed to delivering an unforgettable experience for their devoted fans.
To pay tribute to Paul Cattermole's significant contributions, the tour has been reimagined and renamed the Good Times Tour after one of the songs where Paul served as the lead vocalist. Rachel Stevens, another member of the group, spoke about Paul's lasting influence, stating, "He's always going to be with us. He was such a big part of this tour, so involved in everything that we are planning, and we are just going to keep his memory alive and share it with all of you."
The Good Times Tour is scheduled to commence in October, and during this time, the band will revert to their original name, S Club. As one of the biggest pop acts of the 1990s and early 2000s, S Club 7 achieved great success with chart-topping hits like "Don't Stop Movin'" and "S Club Party."
After initially disbanding in 2003, the group last reunited for a live performance in 2015. Their upcoming tour is an opportunity for fans to relive the nostalgic era of S Club 7 and celebrate their timeless music.
