Ocean Alley Announce One-Off New Zealand Arena Show for 2026
Tuesday 17 June 2025
Australian genre-bending rockers Ocean Alley are bringing the heat back to Aotearoa, announcing a massive headline show at Spark Arena in Auckland on Friday 27 February 2026, in support of their upcoming fifth studio album, Love Balloon, out globally on Friday 19 September.
Tickets go on sale Tuesday 24 June at 12PM NZST via Ticketmaster.
This will be Ocean Alley’s first NZ headline show since 2023, and fans can expect a euphoric night of new music, deep grooves and classic bangers from a band that’s evolved into one of the most electrifying live acts in the Southern Hemisphere.
Their new record Love Balloon is already turning heads, with its title track dropping a disco-tinged preview of the band’s fresh, carefree sonic direction. Produced by Nick DiDia (Bruce Springsteen, Powderfinger), the album leans into feel-good funk, shimmering guitar lines and heartfelt lyricism—crafted to make you move, smile and feel.
Joining them for the ride are Skegss, bringing their sun-fried garage-punk chaos, and rising star DON WEST, whose soul-drenched vocals and retro swagger are the perfect prelude to a night of top-tier live music.
With over a billion streams, 12 NZ Gold and Platinum singles, and recent appearances at global festivals like Lollapalooza, Sziget, and Austin City Limits, Ocean Alley continue to cement their status as one of Australia’s most influential musical exports. Their Spark Arena show comes hot off an ambitious world tour, including a headline set at London’s Alexandra Palace and debut shows across Latin America.
This is a one-night-only event that marks a new era for Ocean Alley. Don’t miss the chance to catch them live as they bring Love Balloon to life on the biggest stage of their career.
