Second show at The Civic in Auckland just announced!
Heartstop Music and Eccles Entertainment are excited to announce that by popular demand, Marlon Williams will play a second night at Auckland’s stunning The Civic theatre next January!
Tickets for the new show go on sale today Thursday 20th October at 12.00 pm NZDT from Ticketmaster.
Currently in the midst of a massive global tour, these will be Marlon’s first full band shows with The Yarra Benders in Aotearoa since his last-minute appearance at Auckland’s Laneway Festival pre-pandemic in 2020.
2021 saw Marlon play solo across 30 shows in 16 regions on ‘An Evening with Marlon Williams’ the tour of Aotearoa. This time, long-time bandmates The Yarra Benders re-join him to play 4 of our most beautiful performance and theatre venues, both The Civic in Auckland and the Michael Fowler Centre in Wellington for the very first time and returning to stages at the Christchurch Town Hall and Regent Theatre in Dunedin. Fittingly regal rooms that ensure a memorable audience experience.
These shows will also be the first time most fans will hear songs from My Boy performed live. My Boy (the album) sees Williams firmly having fun and as the album's tracks are being road tested in other parts of the world right now, fans in Aotearoa will get to see the absolute best live renditions of them when Marlon plays back home next January!
