Ladi6 Announces Le Vā Album Tour and Limited Vinyl Release

Thursday 15 May 2025

One of Aotearoa’s most celebrated musical voices, Ladi6 returns with Le Vā—her first studio album in years and arguably her most personal project to date. Set for release alongside a nationwide tour, Le Vā marks a powerful chapter of creative transformation, emotional healing, and tribute.

The album is a deeply heartfelt dedication to Ladi6’s late mother, Fuarosa, whose passing in 2020 left an indelible impact. "Le Vā explores that sacred space between us – the seen and unseen, what we carry and what we release," says Ladi6. “This project is both a farewell and a becoming.”

Sonically, the album sees Ladi6 and longtime collaborator Parks (Robert Wallace) evolve their signature wavey electronic soul into something even more expansive and intimate. The upcoming Le Vā Album Tour will blend these new tracks with iconic favourites from her catalogue, serving as a celebration of growth, gratitude, and the community that has supported her across two decades.

As part of the tour, fans can also get their hands on a limited edition 12” pink vinyl of Le Vā—pressed on 180gm and featuring a full-colour sleeve insert. The record includes original poetry by Grace Iwashita-Taylor and spoken word by acclaimed actor Bella Kalolo-Suraj, adding further layers of meaning and artistry.

Tour merch and vinyl will be available at all shows. More than just a return—Le Vā is an invitation to reflect, to reconnect, and to move forward, together.
