Jungle Rot reveal New Zealand shows w/ NembutoliK

Arising from Kenosha, Wisconsin's death metal underground in the early nineties, Jungle Rot are venturing down under in 2023 for an epic Australasian tour this April, including face-rippin' headline dates at Pōneke's Valhalla and Tāmaki Makaurau's The Mothership. Fronted by singer / guitarist Dave Matrise with James Genenz, Geoff Bub and Spenser Syphers, Jungle Rot's unrepentantly brutal, mega-heavy groove-driven oeuvre encompasses ten full length albums and an EP, including their new 2022 album Call to Arms via Unique Leader Records. They'll be joined for both Aotearoa gigs by special guests from Frankston, Australia NembutoliK, who unleashed their pummelling debut album All Along the Frankston Line in June and shared the stage last month in Melbourne with recent visitors Skeletal Remains. Wisconsin's Death Groove Giants ‘Jungle Rot’ will finally make their debut in Australia and New Zealand in April 2023 after 30 years of rotting away.

The infectious grooves of Jungle Rot can be caught in the following cities this coming Autumn 2023: Wellington, Auckland, Frankston, Adelaide, Melbourne, Canberra, Newcastle, Sydney and Brisbane.

Since 1992, Jungle Rot have garnered a large and loyal following of fans across the globe in this time. Delivering a punitive blend of old-school thrash metal, death metal, crossover and crust punk; the group are known to integrate slow stomping melodies into their old school brand of extreme metal.

Jungle Rot have never tried to be the goriest or most technical band in the extreme metal underground, but instead have focused on flowing grooves and infectiously catchy song writing.

After three decades, 10 full length albums and an EP, released through respected labels including Century Media and Victory Records, Jungle Rot completed their latest album during 2020.

Recently signing with Unique Leader Records in 2021 the band have since released their 11th studio album A Call To Arms, in May 2022!
