Brew of Islands 2025: Northland’s Winter Festival Returns

Get ready to raise your glass and your heart rate—Brew of Islands 2025 is back on Saturday 28 June for a one-day, two-session celebration of craft beer, live music, and gourmet street food in the stunning Bay of Islands.

Showcasing eight top-tier breweries from across the North Island, this year’s lineup includes big names like Garage Project, McLeod’s, Parrotdog, Urbanaut, and local legends PhatHouse and Kainui Brew Co. Making their debut are the bold flavours of Double Vision Brewing, joining 8 Wired with their barrel-aged brilliance. From hop-forward to sour and smooth, every brew lover’s taste is covered.

On the food front, Northland’s best come out in force. American BBQ pitmaster Mat Fulton (Wingless Angel) joins the fray with his low’n’slow smoked meats, alongside the punchy Mexican flavours of Taco Bandit, fresh seafood from Tasty Tucker, bratwursts by Northland Fine Foods, and the legendary mussel fritters from Mrs Miller.

Live music will light up the day with performances from Superhero Second Line, Albi & The Wolves, Kōhia, and Kerikeri’s own Merv Pinny. Over in the Nightclub Zone, expect dancefloor heat from DJs Rhys, French Kiss, Sye, and PAWS, plus roaming street antics from crowd favourite Conrad Comb.
