Green light for fair to go-ahead

The Extravaganza Fair has been given the green light from The Ministry of Health and Tauranga City Council to continue with the fair this weekend at Memorial Park.
Taking to Facebook, they explained that Saturday will have Level 2 restrictions in place – just like the same as if you were to head into town.
“Please enter through our Main Extravaganza Entrance Gate, here you can sign in, sanitise and if need be, wait your turn to enter.
“Our bean bags, kids’ toys etc will be removed. Our Circus and Magic shows will be postponed to avoid gatherings.
“Please stay within your bubble and respect the two-meter distancing. If you feel unwell, please stay at home.
“Our live music will still be performed and all stalls operating.”
The organisers have their fingers crossed for a return to Level 1 on Sunday, so the fair can go ahead as planned.
