Bigger and better, the Mobile Library

Tauranga City Libraries has a new addition to their fleet, the updated and improved Mobile Library bus. 

The Mobile library has over 40 stops on a fortnightly cycle and endeavours to park in community locations with easy access to parking.

The bus has a height adjustable step allowing for easier entry. Please alert the librarian if you need the step adjusted.

There are over 3,500 items to choose from which are changed regularly by library staff. They welcome your suggestions so let them know if you don’t find what you are after.

The Mobile library will bring any lending item you choose from their catalogue to the stop most convenient for you. This is now a free service.

If you see an item is checked in on the Mobile library on the catalogue, please call 07 577 7177 to check, before you visit the Mobile library to issue the item.
