Bayfair becomes Emirates Team NZ Fan Zone

Bayfair is hosting the official Emirates Team New Zealand Fan Zone for the Tauranga region.
Join in the fun while watching the 36th America’s Cup on their big screens with hundreds of giveaways, food and drink specials, live music around the racing, face painting and more.
Racing starts with the first two matches on Wednesday, March 10, as Emirates Team New Zealand takes on Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli Team. Matches 3 and 4 are scheduled for Friday, March 12 from 4.15 pm and following the racing they will have live music for you to enjoy with a drink and bite to eat.
Over the weekend the kids can show their support with face painting from 3 pm and free ice cream treats. On Saturday, they will be joining the celebratory global singalong of ‘We Are Sailing’ led by Sir Rod Steward and a mass choir from Auckland’s America’s Cup Village after 3 pm.
Racing starts at 4.15 pm on both days so make sure you grab yourself a cold one and get ready to cheer the team on. Live music will run on into the evenings, so book yourself a table at one of Bayfair’s eight restaurants and make the most of their racing specials on offer.
If we haven’t beaten Luna Rossa Prade Pirelli by then, racing will continue with two races each afternoon from Monday, March 15 from 4.15pm, and every day after until either the Defender Emirates Team New Zealand or the Challenger Luna Rossa reaches 7 wins.
Alongside the official team zone, there will be merchandise giveaways on all of the race days – if the team from Bayfair spot you cheering on NZ you might just be surprised with Emirates Team New Zealand gear.
