Tauranga City Libraries to Operate at Reduced Hours

Tauranga City Libraries will be operating reduced weekend opening hours until further notice due to the impact of COVID-19 on staff numbers.
 
From today, weekend opening hours will be from 9:30am to 1:30pm.
 
Libraries Manager Joanna Thomas says her team are doing everything they can to keep our libraries services running smoothly.
 
“The current Omicron outbreak has heavily impacted our team, with many needing to self-isolate or take time off to look after sick family members,” says Joanna.
 
“We apologise for the inconvenience of the reduced weekend hours and thank the community for their patience during this time,” she says.

Additional information: Mount Maunganui Library remains closed on a Sunday.
